*Are you a practitioner of the Expressive Arts or a related field?
*Would you like to connect with others, share support, ideas, experience and visions?
Join us for our monthly Expressive Arts Community Networking event. Bring your fliers, announcements, business cards, ideas, questions, and whatever you would like to share.
At each session we have a guest facilitator who gives a mini-workshop for an hour or so!
Our Guest Facilitator for November is Deborah McKeever!
Why puppets? Why make them? Why use them in Expressive Arts? They are just paper, glue and paint; inert objects. The thing that happens is projection; transferring our own emotion or desire onto the puppet. Unconsciously our image falls on the paper, glue and paint giving us something tangible to explore. A vast new world can open up.
The steps in creating a papier mâché puppet will be shared at the November networking. Deborah will bring an example of each step and may demo some. If there is enough interest, we will schedule a workshop!
