EAFI 220: EXPRESSIVE ARTS IN THE WORLD: Populations, Practices, and Settings

April 27-30, 2017

April 19-22, 2018

In this Level 2 weekend intensive, EAFI 220: Expressive Arts in the World: Populations, Practices, and Settings, be inspired by guest presenters from around the world, as you expand your view of the practice and possibilities of Expressive Arts!

  • Meet, learn from,  and work with leading practitioners  – both locally and throughout the world – who utilize expressive arts in a wide variety of settings.

  • In-person guest presenters, Skype sessions, and multi-media presentations will introduce you to some dynamic expressive arts applications with a range of populations and age groups.

  • Experience examples of consultant/educator work, expressive arts therapy, healthcare, education, end-of-life, community- building, social change, and more.

  • And, over the four days, engage in your own expressive arts process, assimilating what you are learning into a visual art piece, and  further developing your own approach.

Tuition: $925 + $50 supply fee

Pre-requisite:

  • Level 2 student in Certificate Program (or Level 1 student with permission of advisor)

  • Others with prior Expressive Arts training may apply here.

“The EAFI Faculty reach beyond themselves and literally across the world to bring added excellence to us through a variety of professionals in the field. Their concern for growing competence in their students is remarkable.”
