EAFI 220: EXPRESSIVE ARTS IN THE WORLD ONLINE

August 8-December 5, 2020

In this Level 2 course, EAFI 220: Expressive Arts in the World: Populations, Practices, and Settings, be inspired by guest presenters from around the world, as you expand your view of the practice and possibilities of Expressive Arts!

  • Meet, learn from,  and work with leading practitioners throughout the world – who utilize expressive arts in a wide variety of settings.

  • An opening session will meet on August 8 to begin the Certificate training course and a closing session will be held on December 5, via Zoom. Between these sessions, students will choose five professional development presentations to attend as part of the course.

  • Zoom video sessions, and multi-media presentations will introduce you to some dynamic expressive arts applications with a range of populations and age groups.

  • Experience examples of consultant/educator work, expressive arts therapy, healthcare, education, end-of-life, community- building, social change, and more.

  • And, engage in your own expressive arts process, assimilating what you are learning into a visual art piece, and  further developing your own approach.

     

Tuition: $925 + $50 supply fee

Pre-requisite:

  • Level 2 student in Certificate Program (or Level 1 student with permission of mentor/faculty)

  • Professional Development sessions are open to those not enrolled in the course or certificate program. You can see all the sessions listed here
